In the wake of #MeToo movement, a few hours back, Aamir Khan along with wife Kiran Rao issued a joint statement saying that his production house has a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual harassment and misconduct. He further revealed in the statement that he has decided to not go ahead with a big project that he was supposed to start work on because a person related to the project has been accused of sexual misconduct. the big-ticket project is none other but the biopic on the life of music baron, late Gulshan Kumar, titled Mogul. Aamir was the joint producer on the film Mogul was helmed by director Subhash Kapoor, and he is the man Aamir pointed out in his statement. In the statement that Aamir shared on social media, he wrote, “We are not an investigative agency, nor are we in any position to pass judgment on anyone-that is for the police and judiciary to do. So, without casting any aspersions on anyone involved in this case, and without coming to any conclusions about these specific allegations, we have decided to step away from this film. Subhash kapoor also accepted his fault in the viral video posted by geetika tyagi, in which she recorded his confession on a hidden cam and then she slaps him.
