Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 opened to about 70 – 80 percent occupancy on its first day. It is a massive number for any film. 2.0 is playing across 6800 screens in India and there are three versions of the movie available: 2D, 3D, 4DX.
Basically, the film is available in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi versions. Insiders have predicted that the Shankar directorial will atleast clock in Rs 100 crore on its first weekend as there are no major releases to compete with this ambitious movie.

Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson starrer 3D film 2.0 has created a record by crossing Rs 200 crore mark worldwide on day 3.
The film has been going strong not only in India but at the global box offices as well.
The satellite rights of the film have already been sold for Rs 120 crore, with Rs 60 crore coming from digital rights. It also suggested that the distribution rights for North Belt brought in a staggering Rs 80 crore, for Andhra Pradesh,Telangana around Rs 70 crore, and for Karnataka and Kerala Rs 25 crore and Rs 15 crore respectively.
