Govinda was all set to entertain with his upcomming film ‘Rangeela Raja‘. However it seems that the movie will not be released, even after so much of his hardword.
Govinda’s upcomming movie Rangeela Raja has been given 20 cuts by Censor Board. Pahlaj Nihalani, infamous for his love of censorship during his tenure as the chief of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
He is fighting it out with the censor board after it ordered 20 cuts in his upcoming film Rangeela Raja, starring Govinda.
In a press conference, Nihalani showed the cuts made to
Rangeela Raja, some of which includes gestures, double-meaning jokes and use of words like Ram. The film was set to release on November 16, and 20 cuts have been proposed by the CBFC for passing it.According to him, his film is targeted for the past 9 years and they have not reached cinema houses.
On adding, he also stated that there are few people who are not providing him the place to act. He alleged a group of people in film industary conspiring against him.
He says, they are not letting my film release on any good platform. No one is supporting him and he does not have producers backing him.
Rangeela Raja is an upcoming 2018 comedy film, written and produced by Pahlaj Nihlani and directed by Sikander Bharti.
The film stars Govinda, Shakti Kapoor, Digangana Suryavanshi, Prem Chopra, Govind Namdeo and Shyamlal Yadav.
The film introduces Mishika Chourasia and Anupama Agnihotri. The film is set in Rajesthan and Govinda will be seen in a double role, portraying four distinct characters.
