Kangana Ranaut was last seen in the film Simran which was released on September 15, 2017. It was a comedy-drama film where Kangana’s performance was highly praised by the critics as well as the audience. The film was based on the real-life story of Sandeep Kaur. Sohum Shah, Hiten Kumar and Kishori Shahane played important roles in the film. However, the film was not as successful as compared to the other films of Kangana and mostly received average reviews from the audience.
