Diwali is all about lights, sounds and food. But many will also agree that Diwali is incomplete without a beautiful rangoli. The coloured chalk powder sprinkled on the floor to bring an intricate and beautiful design to life adds a festive touch to the festival of lights.
Now since we’re Bollywood Life and we HAVE to add a twist of Bollywood to the festival, we decided why not bring a filmy touch to the traditional rangoli. How? While we cannot give you rangoli tutorials and DIY rangoli ideas, we are here to show that even Bollywood rangoli is a thing.
Over the years, rangoli artists in the country have tried their hands at replicating Bollywood stars and film posters in their ideas. From Deepika Padukone to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan – we’ve had some beautiful designs come to life and it has left us stunned.
Clearly, Deepika is a favourite among rangoli artists. Another rangoli artist recreated the iconic moment from Goliyon Ki Raasleela…Ram Leela on the floor.
In the third one, she was joined by her soon-to-be husband Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra as an artist designed the poster of Bajirao Mastani.
Another Sanjay Leela Bhansali actress, who was recreated in through a rangoli, was Aishwarya. A fan got down and brought a moment from Guru to life. The picturesque image left us stunned.
During the release of Baahubali, a slew of rangoli artists got down on the floor and designed posters, moments and characters of the movie. The most common one was of Prabhas holding up the stone shivling from the posters.
