A film ‘83 starrer Ranveer Singh is undeniably one of the much-awaited films in 2019. A dramatic representation of the historic World Cup win of 1983, the film is to be directed by filmmaker Kabir Khan. One of the prominent directors of Bollywood who is known for reflecting best war-dramas on the silver screen is now coming up with this new genre. So, in order to make sure that the film seems flawless and its actors get rightly into their characters, Ek Tha Tiger director Kabir Khan has organised a fortnight-long cricket camp for the team in Mohali in April.
Indian cricketers including Kapil Dev, Yashpal Sharma, Madan Lal, and other players who have been a part of Ranji Trophies will also be a part of this camp. The cricketers will be giving their inputs and interact with the actors about the techniques.
As stated, there is also a meet and greet session for the cast at the end of February ahead of the training camp. The decision about their meet and greet comes with an idea to help the actors bond as there will be 11 actors including the likes of South star Jiiva as Krishnamachari Srikkanth, Ammy Virk as Balvinder Singh Sandhu and the latest addition in the form of Sahil Khattar as Syed Kirmani.
