The budget of the movie is around 550 crore, 2.0 is the costliest Indian movie ever made. Riding on the massive popularity of the superstar Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, the film has broken all records across in the global market, including the United States, the UK, and Australia.
The movie 2.0 not only in India made a huge profit but also worldwide had a great collection. 2.0’s total earning across the US and the UK has crossed over Rs 24.55 crore and Rs 4.54 crore, respectively. The film’s business in Australia stood at Rs 4.87 crore in the first weekend, while it crossed over Rs 87 lakh in New Zealand and Fiji, collectively. The Hindi version of 2.0 has taken a good start at the box office. The film has witnessed morning occupancy of around 35-40%. It is receiving a positive response in single screens, and the big end multiplexes has got an average response.

Superstar Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s 2.0 is all set ringing the bells in India is now also gearing up for a major China release across 56,000 screens. According to the makers, the Lyca Productions confirmed the news of the filmmaker Shankar-directed Sci-Fi movie’s release in association with HY Media. In China at least 47,000 of the total screens the movie will be played in 3D format.
“2.0” will release in China in May 2019 and it will be the widest 3D release for any foreign language film in history, the statement said. This is one of the biggest turn for the movie and we hope that same love which the movie received in India by the audience, will receive in China.
