Thug of Hindostan the biggest opening starting Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan released this Diwali. The movie earned Rs 52.25 crore (all languages) on the Day 1.

Despite this the film has managed to cross the figure of 100 crores in three days. It totally earned Rs 124.50 crore.

The earnings of ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ in the theater chain PVR, Inox and Cinepolis have seen a similar decline, as during the release of ‘Race-3‘.

For the first time in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan are seen together.

There has been talk of spending about Rs 300 crore in the movie. It has a huge cost of production worth which will not be easy for the movie to recover, as apparent from the decline in audience’s interest in the film after the first day.

‘Thugs of Hindostan’ is being said to be Bollywood’s biggest ever opening day film.
Thugs of Hindostan features a star-studded cast with Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in leading roles.

The film has been written and directed by Dhoom 3 fame Vijay Krishna Acharya, and produced by Aditya Chopra.
Hopefully the period drama has to witness even better numbers on Sunday in order to end the weekend on a happy note.

As considering the current trend, the movie is likely to suffer a huge drop in its earnings during the weekdays.

Although Thugs of Hindostan crossed Rs 100 crore mark in just three days, it was expected to register much better numbers over the weekend.
